新人們進(jìn)入第二年實(shí)習(xí)期，最初的新奇和激情被忙碌、疲勞取代，也慢慢發(fā)現(xiàn)被傳為“納粹”的貝利醫(yī)生嚴(yán)酷外表下是一顆極其善良的心。梅雷迪斯（艾倫·旁派 Ellen Pompeo 飾）與“夢(mèng)幻先生”德里克（帕特里克·德姆西 Patrick Dempsey 飾）從一夜情正式發(fā)展到談戀愛，怎料“正室”艾迪森（凱特·沃什 kate walsh 飾）出現(xiàn)，原來德里克目前處于和老婆分居狀態(tài)，一直被他逃避的婚姻問題再度擺上臺(tái)面，梅雷迪斯倍受煎熬；那邊廂，克里斯蒂娜（吳珊卓 Sandra Oh 飾）與黑人醫(yī)師伯克擦出的火花持續(xù)放大，在“懷孕”和“事業(yè)”間掙扎，卻不幸遭遇流產(chǎn)；伊澤貝爾（凱瑟琳·海格爾 Katherine Heigl 飾）和亞里克斯（賈斯汀·錢伯斯 Justin Chambers 飾）開始約會(huì)，發(fā)展也并不順利……
